Software that is already running. We'll build yours.

Most development shops have never had to live with what they shipped. The engineering team that builds for MLV Empire also builds and runs the ten products we sell — an email API, a CRM, business, restaurant, school and law-firm systems — so the people designing your system design it as something they would have to support themselves.

In short

MLV Empire builds websites, mobile apps, SaaS products and custom business systems for Malaysian companies. You deal with MLV Empire in Malaysia, in ringgit, with a written quote; the build is done by the engineering team of our technology partner, Asli One Global, which also builds and operates the ten software products MLV Empire sells. That means the team you hire has shipped, billed and supported production software rather than only delivered it.

What we build

02

Why this is different from a typical agency

The gap between an agency and a product team is not price. It is whether anyone on the other side has ever been woken up by their own code.

The usual wayThe MLV Empire way
The team has built demos and client projects, never a product with paying users.
The same team runs ten products. Aslio sends paying customers' transactional email in production. AsliCRM and QRasli take live subscriptions. Asli Dine runs a restaurant's floor and kitchen.
You get an estimate after three discovery calls.
Send a scope, get a written quote in ringgit. No funnel, no qualification round.
Handover is a zip file and an invoice.
We stay on the hook. Deployment, moving data from your old system, training and support are part of the engagement, not an upsell.
Every request becomes a change order.
Phased, fixed-scope delivery. You buy phase one, see it work, then decide on phase two.
03

How engagements are priced

Three shapes. Pick the one that matches how much of the problem is already defined.

EngagementBest whenPriced
Fixed-scope phaseYou know what phase one is and want a number before you commit.Quoted in RM per phase, against a written scope
Dedicated teamThe roadmap is long and will change. You want capacity, not a contract per feature.Monthly rate, three-month minimum
Change requestYou already run one of our products and want it extended.Quoted per request

Starting points, not a rate card: a basic business website from about RM2,500; a mobile app from about RM15,000. Every project is quoted in writing against its scope before any work starts. Prices are in Malaysian ringgit. SST is added where it applies.

04

How we work with you

Your contract and your point of contact are MLV Empire, in Malaysia. Engineering is done by our technology partner's team, working on the same written scope. You do not manage two vendors.

What makes it work in practice is that we write things down. Every project carries a progress document that records what was built, what broke, and what the next session picks up — the same discipline used on the products themselves. You read it instead of attending a status call.

Intellectual property is set in the contract, not assumed. Full assignment of the bespoke work to you, or a licence at a lower price where the core is retained. We tell you which one you are buying before you sign, because the two are not the same product at the same price.

Send us a scope. Get a number.

Frequently asked questions

Q.01Who actually builds the software?

MLV Empire is your contracting party and point of contact in Malaysia. The engineering is done by the team at our technology partner, Asli One Global, which also builds and runs the ten products MLV Empire sells. We say this plainly because you should know who is writing your code.

Q.02What technologies do you build with?

Flutter for iOS and Android, Next.js and React on the web, NestJS and Node.js for APIs, PostgreSQL with Prisma for data, and cloud hosting. These are the same technologies the ten products run on, not a list assembled for a proposal.

Q.03How much does a custom software project cost?

It is quoted in writing against a scope. As starting points, a basic business website is from about RM2,500 and a mobile app from about RM15,000; larger systems are priced per phase. Your scope decides the real number. Prices are in Malaysian ringgit and SST is added where it applies.

Q.04Who owns the code you write for us?

Whatever the contract says, agreed before work starts. We offer full assignment of the bespoke work to you, or a lower price where the core is retained and licensed to you. You will not find out which one you bought after the fact.

Q.05Can you take over an existing codebase?

Yes. Expect the first phase to be an audit with a written finding, so you can decide whether to continue with a real picture of the state of it.

Q.06How do we start?

Email hello@mlvempire.my with what you want built, or as much of it as you know. You get a written estimate and a scope back. If the scope is not clear enough to price, we will tell you that instead of booking a call to find out.
