A website you can change without calling us.

Website & web application development · Malaysia

The most common complaint about an agency website is not how it looks. It is that changing one sentence requires an email, a quote and a week. Every site we build ships with an admin panel, because the alternative is a customer who resents us by month three.

In short

MLV Empire builds websites and web applications for Malaysian businesses — company sites, brand sites, online stores and internal web tools — using Next.js, React and Node.js. Every site is delivered with an admin panel so you edit your own text, images, gallery and enquiries without developer time. Where the budget allows, we present working design directions rather than flat mockups, so you choose from real pages. A basic business website starts from about RM2,500, quoted in writing against your scope.

01

How we work differently

Three habits, each of which came from watching the usual way annoy somebody.

The usual wayThe MLV Empire way
A flat mockup in a design tool, which looks nothing like the built site.
Working design directions. For one client the team built four full Next.js themes and let them browse all four before choosing. A music artist's site shipped as two entirely different working styles.
Content changes go through the agency, at agency rates, on agency timelines.
An admin panel with every site. One client's steel-fabrication site lets them edit every section, upload gallery photos, add videos, manage testimonials and read enquiries themselves.
A page that scores badly and loads slowly because the template was bought, not built.
Built, not assembled. Static export where it suits, real image discipline, and a scroll-driven hero when the brand earns one.
Handed over with no way to know if it works.
Enquiries are stored and emailed, so a lead never depends on one inbox rule surviving.

What we build on the web

02.01

Company and brand sites

The site that has to make someone trust you in eight seconds. Image-led, fast, and clear about what you do and where you serve.

02.02

Web applications

Multi-role dashboards, customer portals, admin panels, internal tools. React and Next.js on a NestJS or Node API.

02.03

Online stores

Storefront, payments, delivery and order management — or Aslify, our zero-commission store platform, where a marketplace's cut is the problem.

02.04

Admin panels and CMS

Delivered as standard, not as a phase two. You own your content.

02.05

Landing and campaign pages

Fast to build, instrumented, and easy for you to duplicate for the next campaign or promotion.

02.06

Rebuilds and migrations

Moving off WordPress, a page builder or an inherited codebase, without losing the URLs that already rank.

03

What is included as standard

These are not line items on a quote. They are the definition of finished.

IncludedWhat it means
Admin panelEdit text, images, gallery, videos, testimonials; read enquiries. No developer needed.
ResponsiveDesigned for the phone first, because that is where your visitors are.
SEO foundationsTitles, descriptions, canonical URLs, Open Graph, structured data, sitemap and robots.txt — the same layer this site runs.
Contact handlingEnquiries stored and emailed to you, not left to a form service.
DeploymentLive on your domain (.my, .com.my or any other) with HTTPS, and a written record of how to redeploy.
Handover documentWritten, not a call. What was built, how to change it, what to watch.

Starting point: a basic business website from about RM2,500. Online stores, web applications and multi-language sites cost more, and every project is quoted in writing before work starts. Prices are in Malaysian ringgit. SST is added where it applies.

When you should not hire us for this

  • You need a five-page site next week for the lowest possible price. A good template on Squarespace, Webflow or Wix will serve you better, and we will say so.
  • You want a brand identity created from nothing — naming, logo system, full brand book. We are engineers who design carefully, not a branding agency.
  • You need continuous large-volume content production — dozens of articles a month. That is an editorial team, not a development team.
  • Your site must be edited by fifty people with workflow approvals. That is enterprise CMS territory; buy one.

Show us the brief. We'll show you pages.

Frequently asked questions

Q.01How much does a website cost in Malaysia with MLV Empire?

A basic business website starts from about RM2,500. The final price depends on the number of pages, whether there is a store, languages, and how much of it you need to edit yourself. Send what you want to hello@mlvempire.my and you get a written quote in ringgit rather than a discovery call. SST is added where it applies.

Q.02Can I edit the website myself afterwards?

Yes — that is the point. Every site ships with an admin panel. One client's site lets them edit every text section, upload gallery photographs, add YouTube videos, manage testimonials and read contact enquiries, with no developer involved.

Q.03Do you show designs before building?

We show working design directions, not flat mockups. For one trading company the team built four full Next.js themes so the client could browse real pages before choosing; a music artist's site shipped as two entirely different working styles.

Q.04Will the website be good for SEO?

The technical foundations are included as standard: titles and descriptions, canonical URLs, Open Graph, structured data, a sitemap and robots.txt. Ranking also needs content and time, which no developer can honestly promise you.

Q.05Can the site be in Bahasa Malaysia and English?

Yes. A bilingual site is scoped as part of the quote — the admin panel then lets you edit both languages. You supply or approve the translated wording.

Q.06Can you rebuild an existing site without losing our rankings?

Yes, and it is a specific piece of work: preserve the URLs that already rank, redirect the ones that must change, and keep the content that earns the traffic. Ask for it explicitly, because a rebuild that ignores this is how sites lose a year of search traffic in a weekend.
